Welcome to the Village of Ashland
The Village of Ashland operates a Mayor form of government. The mayor serves a four year term as the Chief Executive Officer of the village. The mayor manages the adminsitrative functions of the city including staffing. The Board of Trustess consists of six elected members in four year terms. Each trustee serves on a combination of the following sub-committees; Water, Sewers, Sanitary & Storm, Streets and Alleys, Zoning Board, Personnel, Parks and Buildings, Dogs & Weeds, Police, and Finance.
​The Board of Trustees meets in full session every second Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m. in the Village Hall at 101 North Yates Street. These meetings are open to the public.
